Throughout his lifetime, the old man has "worn many hats", from being a young Marine to becoming a father of seven…then on to touring and performing for decades on numerous stages & meeting the likes of Les Paul & Peter Yarrow. The stories good & bad that have become legend in our family are far too many to be told & he is simply known as what he has always been…"Pops".
Mark David Russell passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026, surrounded by family.
He is survived by seven children and fifteen grandchildren.
